Discouragement can become prevalent and personal in times of global difficulty and crisis. 

It is important to acknowledge what is happening in the world around us, but we don’t have to dwell on or remain stuck in the negativity ourselves. We can actually control the news feed in our own minds. 

You may be asking, “How?” We actually have the power to confess Good News over our own lives—over our finances, relationships, our neighborhoods and co-workers. We can take captive every thought. We can confess the Word of God over our own lives and over the lives of others. We can share the Good News of Jesus with those who need it. 

It is never too late to ask God to invade every single area of our lives.
