Jesus Heals A Demon-Possessed Boy

As far as I’m concerned faith is a bit of a mystery — especially if we’re talking about faith that moves mountains and does the impossible. Nevertheless, Jesus says that faith like a mustard seed moves us beyond what we think are the limits of what is possible. But what does it mean to have faith like a mustard seed? Is it just the tiniest bit of faith? I’m not sure that’s what Jesus means. I do know that Jesus talked about mustard seeds one other time and said that even though the mustard seed is the smallest seed, it can grow into the biggest plant in the garden. So maybe what we need to do is stay on the journey and give our faith time and space to grow. I think that’s when we will eventually find ourselves becoming what we used to think was impossible.
