Romans 12

New Life in Christ
1I urge you therefore, brothers, by the mercies of God, that you present your bodies as a living sacrifice, # Ro 6:13, 16; 1Pe 2:5 holy, and acceptable to God, which is your reasonable service of worship. 2Do not be conformed to this age, # 1Pe 1:14 but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is the good and acceptable and complete will of God. # Eph 5:17; 1Th 4:3
3For I say, through the grace given to me, to everyone among you, not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think, # Ro 11:20; Php 2:3–8 but to think with sound judgment, according to the measure of faith God has distributed to every man. # Ro 1:5; 1Co 12:7–11 4For just as we have many parts in one body, and not all parts have the same function, # 1Co 12:12–14 5so we, being many, are one body in Christ, # 1Co 10:17; 12:20 and all are parts of one another. 6We have diverse gifts according to the grace that is given to us: if prophecy, # Ac 13:1; 1Co 13:2 according to the proportion of faith; 7if service, in serving; he who teaches, in teaching; # Eph 4:11 8he who exhorts, in exhortation; he who gives, with generosity; # 2Co 9:7 he who rules, with diligence; he who shows mercy, with cheerfulness. # 1Co 12:28
