Beyond Our Power.

It is beyond our power to do this, life. We are imperfect and small beings who knew nothing at all about navigating through life, and yet we act like we do, don't we? We say to people we got life all figured out, like its purpose and its meaning, all on our own. When in fact, the concept of life is completely foreign to us because what do we know about tomorrow? We are so limited, but we act like our capabilities are unlimited. Joseph here is a great example of recognizing how small we are as humans. When Pharaoh approached him to interpret his dreams, Joseph actually replied that interpreting dreams was beyond his power. Joseph had successfully interpret two dreams previously, but he remained humble and acknowledge that it was all because of God. It is beyond his power, so only God's work and God's hands are to be recognized in the process.

Do we believe that we have the power to sail in our journey of life on our own, or do we bow our heads and give the glory all to God alone? It is time that we make our lives more and more about Him each day. We are not the center, it is beyond our power. Only God is. More of Him and less of 'me'.
