Israel and the ChurchMuestra

Day 2 – Sharing in Abraham’s blessing
Yesterday we read that before the redemptive work of the Lord Jesus, we were ‘outsiders’, ‘gentiles’, and ‘uncircumcised’. Jesus removed the separation that existed between Jews and Gentiles. Now both Jews and Gentiles have access to the Father in heaven.
By sharing in Jesus’ sacrifice, we Gentiles share in the blessing that God promised to Abraham too! He is the patriarch of the Jewish people. God made an everlasting covenant with him and with his descendants. Through Abraham and his descendants, all the generations of the whole world would also be blessed.
The work of the Lord Jesus is a fulfillment of that promise! Through His resurrection, all peoples can share in God's blessing.
We hope you may discover more and more about how Israel is and will be, a blessing to us.
Give thanks today for Jesus' sacrifice and that even as non-Jews we too can share in God's blessing.
