DÍA 14 DE 17

It is possible for you––whatever your circumstances––to be deeply at home in the fellowship of the Heavenly Father. We do that by arranging our lives around activities, practices, and wisdom that Jesus modeled for us. Today we’re talking about fellowship.

Fellowship is when we take some of the other activities that we’ve already discussed and we participate in them with other people. For example, worship, study, prayer, celebration, and service… To do those with others becomes fellowship.

When it comes to fellowship, there’s an important truth we have to grasp: personalities united can contain more of God and sustain the force of His presence much better than scattered individuals can. It’s how we were made. Christian redemption is not devised to be a solitary thing. That’s why fellowship is such a sacred practice.

It’s also important to understand what fellowship is not. It’s not simply hanging out with other people. We practice fellowship because we are able to experience the power of healing when we gather together. We are able to receive more power from God when we are in community.

So today, enter into fellowship with the people around you and with the heavenly Father. Check out the video on fellowship for more.

Today’s invitation:

Practice fellowship by reading a passage of Scripture with another person. Or pray with someone. Or serve someone with someone else. Whatever you do, engage in it with others and invite God to be in fellowship with you.
