You Can!Sample

Throughout your life, you are going to experience seasons of doubt. This is a normal part of being human. It is not a bad thing, but that does not mean that it always feels good in the moment. Sometimes, in moments of doubt, it may feel like you are standing on unsteady ground. Maybe it feels slippery like ice or snow, or wet and squishy like mud or quicksand. Regardless, when it comes to our faith, it can feel unsteady, which can make us worry.
The author of 2 Thessalonians gives us a word of encouragement by telling us to trust in the things we know to be true, like the truth that God loves you no matter what and that God promised to never leave us. We’re invited to stand firm in our belief in the things we have been taught about God’s love for us and his plan for the world while trusting that we can bring all our questions to God. When we feel unsteady, we can choose to trust in God’s never-ending and consistent love. Today, talk to God. Share with God about one thing you believe about Him and one thing you have big questions about.
