You Can!Sample

(VIDEO TRANSCRIPT BELOW)
It can feel like there’s so much bad news- from something you see online to a family member’s health, to a difficult situation with a friend. It’s like your brain is overwhelmed, constantly running, trying to figure out what to do.
There’s a saying: “Worry is like a rocking chair. It gives you something to do, but it doesn’t get you anywhere.” When we stress about things we can’t control, it’s like we’re rocking back and forth—moving but not going anywhere. This verse reminds us that we don’t have to live like that. When we feel overwhelmed, we can pause and remember that God can handle anything on our hearts. That doesn’t mean everything will magically get better, but it does mean that we don’t have to carry it alone.
Next time you feel overwhelmed, pause, take a deep breath, and remind yourself: I don’t have to figure it all out. I can be still and trust that I’m not alone.
