Day 21: Stay Committed and Consistent
As we come to the end of these 21 days of prayer and fasting, I want to encourage you to carry the lessons and habits you’ve developed into the rest of the year. Fasting is a season, but consistency in seeking God is a lifestyle. Psalm 1 paints a beautiful picture of the person who is rooted in God’s Word: “That person is like a tree planted by streams of water, which yields its fruit in season and whose leaf does not wither—whatever they do prospers” (Psalm 1:3).
Consistency isn’t always glamorous, but it’s where real growth happens. Like a tree planted by water, our spiritual health is strengthened as we daily draw from God’s Word, remain faithful in prayer, and stay connected to His presence. The fruit may not appear overnight, but in time, you’ll see the evidence of His work in your life.
What commitments will you carry forward from this season of fasting? Maybe it’s setting aside time each day to pray and read Scripture. Maybe it’s continuing to fast periodically throughout the year. Whatever it is, stay the course. Consistency builds roots, and roots produce fruit.
Pray: “Lord, thank You for all You’ve done during this time of prayer and fasting. Help me to remain consistent in seeking You every day. Let my life be like a tree planted by streams of water, bearing fruit for Your glory.”
Even as this fasting season ends, your journey with God continues. Stay committed, stay rooted, and watch how He works in your life throughout the year ahead.

About this Plan
Over the next 21 days, we are setting aside time to seek God intentionally—through fasting, prayer, and giving. Matthew 6 reminds us that these three practices draw us closer to the heart of God and position us to experience His faithfulness in extraordinary ways. Each day, we'll be walking with you through stories from Scripture, personal reflections, and encouragement for this journey. Take time to reflect, pray, and let God speak to you. We're believing that as we lean into this together, He will do above and beyond all we could ask or imagine.
