Divine Redemption - 7 Powerful Ways That God Redeems Your PastSample
He Blots Out Your Sin
Picture a whiteboard filled with errors, and with one swipe, it is wiped clean. This is how God blots out your sins. The Hebrew word for blot out is machah (מָחָה), which means to completely erase or obliterate. God’s forgiveness doesn’t leave a trace of your past.
You can boldly declare today that you stand pure and holy before the Lord. His mercy has erased every wrongdoing. The enemy may try to accuse you, but your record is clean. Repentance, or metanoia (μετάνοια) in Greek, means a change of mind—a turning away from sin and turning towards God. Today is a new beginning for you in Christ.
Isaiah 44:22 (AMPC)
"I have blotted out, like a thick cloud, your transgressions, and like a cloud, your sins. Return to Me, for I have redeemed you."
Prayer:
Lord, thank You for blotting out my sins and making me new. I declare that I am redeemed and washed clean by Your mercy. I choose to walk in the truth of my new identity in Christ, free from condemnation and filled with Your love. Amen.
