7 Mornings With NanaSample
Exemplify the Love of Christ
Remember that it is not our brothers and sisters who come against us but Satan and his army. We must remember to correctly place the blame where it belongs.
When we resist the devil, he flees from God’s wondrous power. Start praising and worshiping, and the old snake will slither away. Don’t let disagreements or petty actions drive you away from fellowship but instead exemplify the love of Christ by offering pardon and acceptance.
Love is seeing the flaws and the scars and caring for each other in spite of them. Love is what rushes in to say, “I’m sorry,” and to reply, “I forgive you,” when a wrong is suffered. Love works around bad habits and mannerisms. Love puts itself last and others first. Love speaks life. Love is recognizing all the fears and insecurities and knowing your role is to comfort. Love is working through the challenges of the valley and celebrating the mountain tops. Love is strong, and it strengthens with time because it is real. Love one another as He has loved us.
Jesus, help me forgive as You do. May I recognize that all battles originate from the pit of hell. May I always be quick to offer mercy and love. Amen.
