Qualifying for God's AnointingSample
GOD ANOINTS SUBMISSION (3)
You must be taken to the place of the cross somewhere to make it in life and destiny. Have you been to the cross? The cross is the place where the will of the Father crosses yours.
When God called me to go into full-time ministry, it wasn’t my will. I had wanted to be a Professor of Electronics. I came out of secondary school with a Grade 1 Distinction, but God told me to choose between my will and His when I entered the university. One of my friends was crying when God called him into the full-time ministry. He told God that He called him at the most inconvenient time of his life and God promised to be his source of life and commission. Those were experiences at the cross.
However, today, people are not paying any price to go into ministry because some churches can pay better salaries than even banks, so, there is no sacrifice involved. God called me and I had to lay everything down to obey that call. For my wife to agree to marry me, she took a risk. Conversely today, wives are encouraging their husbands to become pastors in some churches, even when God has not called them, because of the physical things such people stand to gain.
It is getting to the cross and submitting your will to the will of the Father that qualifies you for the anointing. You must have the marks of the cross in your life to be able to raise a people of eternal value for God.
PRAYER: Lord, help me to pay the required price for the anointing. Amen!
