Refresh: 21 Days of Prayer & FastingSample
Psalm 30:2-3 (NIV) “LORD my God, I called to you for help, and you healed me. You, LORD, brought me up from the realm of death…”
God’s Word is God’s medicine (Proverbs 4:22). By faithfully reading the verses on healing, God’s medicine (God’s Word concerning healing) is renewing your mind, strengthening your spirit, and healing your body.
Simply reading God’s Word concerning healing has a healing effect. In order to supercharge this process, it is important to speak out loud both the verses and an affirmation about the verse with determination and boldness. The more enthusiasm and confidence you add to your affirmation, the better your results will be.
The KJV reads “…Thou has healed me. Thou hast kept me alive”
Boldly say what God says, and regularly make the following affirmation of faith and your faith will grow.
“I believe I have received my healing (Mark 11:24). Lord, You have healed me. I don’t consider what I feel. I regard your Word as your medicine. I believe I am healed. You have healed me. Thank You Lord that You heard me when I called out to You. I've called to You, and You have heard me. You have revived me. You have kept me alive.”
How did it make you feel to boldly say what God says?
Are you able to think of God's Word as God's medicine?
“Why are you cast down, O my soul? And why are you disquieted within me? Hope in God: for I shall yet praise Him, who is the health of my countenance, and my God” (Psalm 42:11 NKJV).
