Precious Moments That Count For EternitySample
You are Blessed in Christ Jesus
In the book of Numbers, we read the story of King Balak of Moab, who was exceedingly afraid of the people of God, the Israelites, and called for Balaam to curse them. Each time Balaam began to speak, instead of curses, out came blessings. God commanded His people to be blessed, and no one or nothing could change that.
Today, God’s blessings are still on His children, the Jews, and no matter who comes up against them, their plans cannot succeed.
We read, in Deuteronomy 28, about the blessings that would come upon the people when they obeyed the law and curses when they disobeyed.
It is impossible to keep the whole law. James writes, For whoever shall keep the whole law, and yet stumble in one point, he is guilty of all (James 2:10). But thanks be to God, Paul tells us, Christ has redeemed us from the curse of the law, having become a curse for us (for it is written, “Cursed is everyone who hangs on a tree”), that the blessing of Abraham might come upon the Gentiles in Christ Jesus
(Galatians 3:13,14a).
Beloved, know for sure that in Christ you are redeemed from every curse that could come upon you in disobeying the law. By His sacrificial death, Christ released you from the curse of the law into freedom of a new life in Him. Walk in every blessing that Christ died to give you.
You are blessed spiritually, physically, mentally, emotionally and financially. You cannot be blessed and cursed at the same time. Refuse any curse of lack, failure, sickness, disease, death, strife or loneliness that tries to come near you. God commands you to be blessed, and so be it!
As you are made aware of this truth, believe this Word and you will see God’s blessings abound in your life.
Declaration
God has commanded that I be blessed and no one can reverse that. I expect blessings to come to me and overtake me. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
