Precious Moments That Count For Eternity

DAY 248 OF 366

Divine Order
God wanted His people to come together to build His house, so He spoke to His prophet, Haggai. That’s how God worked in those times. Surely the Lord GOD does nothing, Unless He reveals His secret to His servants the prophets (Amos 3:7). God was always clear and specific. In fact, He still is. He is a God of divine order.
When the prophet Haggai brought forth the Word from God, it brought about a stirring in the spirits of the Governor of Judah, the High Priest and the rest of the people. What divine order! When God wants something to be done, it is done in an orderly manner and in unison. In one accord!
Today, God desires that we continue to build His house. He will not only bring the Word to us through His prophets, but He will stir our hearts, which will culminate in an outpouring of the Spirit and a great harvest. God will put the burden on our hearts for the lost, the poor, the widows and orphans. As long as we follow His divine order and remain in one accord, the enemy cannot win against us. He has to be defeated, because God commands a blessing where there is unity (Psalm 133).
Let’s not forget that a game is won by good teamwork. We are all players and must wait for divine orders from our Captain. When we receive those orders and work with our teammates, we are bound to win!

Prayer
Father God, I thank You that in everything, You have ordained divine order—in families and in the Church. Teach me to wait patiently for my turn to be divinely stirred and used by You. Fill me with spiritual discernment to do what is right in Your sight. In Jesus’ name I pray. Amen.
