Lord, please show me what it means to resist the devil in my context. Is there something you would have me pray, say, or do?
Notice your reaction when you see or hear about injustice. It can be overwhelming or cause us to feel powerless. As philosopher John Stuart Mill pointed out, the only thing necessary for evil to triumph is for good people to do nothing. What emotions are evoked by the thought of confronting the injustices you see on your frontline?
