Prayer tools: PAUSE prayer

Father, I desire for your kingdom to come and your will to be done. Help me to pause when other desires compete with this.

PAUSE works in the moment by allowing you to interrupt your normal reaction to a situation and respond, instead, more wisely and lovingly. P – Press the pause button when a challenging situation arises and ask God to give you insight. A – Acknowledge your feelings. U – Understand your unchecked desires. S – Surrender your desires to Jesus. E – Engage with the situation, asking for God’s wisdom and placing the outcome in His hands.
