A Powerful Heritage Of Faith
Running a race towards the Kingdom of God is not a lonely race. The great cloud of witnesses is composed of the believers described in Hebrews chapter 11. Their faith encouraged us and stirs us to run. In order to win the race, there are three things we need to do. 1. Give up whatever endangers our relationship with Jesus. 2. Overcome sin with the power of the Holy Spirit. 3. Keep our eyes on Jesus.
Prayer: Father Lord, thank you for your constant encouragement to us by listing all people who had great faith in you. Thank you for the Holy Spirit working in our lives. In Jesus' Name, Amen.
