Do Good
It is good to trust in the Lord, but we also need to do our part. We don't need to do good works to earn our salvation. Jesus did it and we are saved. We are saved by His Grace, not our works. We need to do good to bring glory to God, to prepare pre-believers to be more receptive to the gospel, to demonstrate the power of the Holy Spirit, and to bear fruits to bless others. When we do good, we will bear fruits. Jesus said, "Good tree bears good fruits." Fruits are not for the tree itself, but for others who are hungry. There are many spiritual hungry and thirsty people in the world.
Prayer: Holy Spirit, help us to exercise and practice the gifts of the Holy Spirit in me so that we can do good and excel in our personal walk with You, our work life, our marriage life, and our ministry life, so that we can bear good fruits to bless people around us. In Jesus' powerful Name, Amen.
