[Revelation] The Comeback: HALLELUJAH!Sample
Worshipping God
Blind sacrifices will never please a seeing God. Knowing this will lead to more constant, close, inward, and serious worship. What do we need to know to attain this kind of worship? Well, first, we need to know that the Lord is God; He is not just a master who gives favors, but is infinitely perfect, self-existent, and self-sufficient; He is the giver of all life. Second, God formed us. Third, He is our sovereign ruler; we are his people, and He is our Lord, Governor, and rightful Owner. Our Lord is the God of infinite goodness and mercies. He is the God of truth and of all faithfulness.
All cultures, when presenting offerings to their gods, are seeking to please and sometimes appease their gods. The Lord Jehovah, on the contrary, seeks obedience rather than sacrifices. “Has the Lord as great delight in burnt offerings and sacrifices, as in obeying the voice of the Lord? Behold, to obey is better than sacrifice, and to listen than the fat of rams.” (1 Samuel 15:22 ESV)
The Lord teaches us to seek truth in our inmost being. The Lord Jesus told the Samaritan woman, in John 4, that the Father seeks to be worshipped in spirit and in truth. Therefore, worship is all about truth. Worshippers must present themselves in all honesty, knowing that they are worshipping the only true God, as revealed in the Bible. God chose to reveal Himself in person to the father of faith, namely Abraham, but He also chose to reveal Himself through the prophets and mostly through His Son, the Lord Jesus Christ.
The infinitely all-loving God invites us to worship Him not only because He deserves all glory and honor, but also because He concedes great mercies in our doing so. As we worship Him, we draw near to His presence and receive peace and well-being. It is only in God’s presence that we can experience an ever-fulfilling joy that exceeds our understanding. The benefits of worshipping God are, to name a few, a peace that takes over a troubled mind, a warmth that comforts a troubled soul, and a joy that fills a lonely heart.
Do you want the peace of God that surpasses all understanding? Can you devote time to worshipping Him?

About this Plan
Revelation 19 is a chapter in the Bible that presents a great multitude in heaven praising God and singing hallelujah. This praise is centered upon the Lamb of God. The Lord Jesus Christ is revealed as One riding a white horse. Jesus is described as a King with eyes as a flame of fire, with many crowns. He is shown returning to the earth, as He promised.
