Born for the Day of BattleSample
Built for The Battle
David had an encounter with a battle that was not his. In fact, Goliath was Saul’s enemy! Still, David chose to fight the battle because he saw an opportunity to glorify God. Have you ever had to face a problem or crisis that was not yours? Who or what is your Goliath? Your Goliath will reveal WHO YOU ARE to God and his destiny for your life. Don’t run away from your Goliath. Don’t ignore the challenge in front of you. There is a warrior inside of you. There is a king or queen inside of you. You are born for the day of battle. You are built for this. God has already given you victory. It’s time to experience the conqueror inside of you.
David refused to wear Saul’s armor, because it did not fit him. Refuse to be who you are NOT and who you’re not made to be. Many will try to put on someone else’s armor on you. Refuse it! It will not fit you. What does this mean for you? Others will give you opinions, ideas, plans, dreams that you are not built for. You got to use the unique gifts & grace placed inside of you to face your battle. Many parents attempt to fulfill their unrealized dreams through their children. Many young people choose their future based on social and peer pressure. Don't look at someone else’s path of success and try to walk in it. God has a unique path for you. You were born for such a time as this. You are called to walk your unique journey, in your generation, and never let comparison dilute your God ordained purpose.
Today, resist comparison and push back thoughts of doubt and fear. Take off the armor that does not fit you. Pick up your own sling and your staff. What you possess right now is more than enough for God to accomplish great things through you. You are more than an overcomer!
