The Garden of Your Mind Sample

We need to spend less time worrying and trying to change our circumstances and more time cultivating an atmosphere inside of our minds that breathes and honours God.

Let's build a kingdom mindset that meditates on these amazing truths:

You are a loved and cherished daughter by your Father

There is no voice of condemnation to accuse you.

God remains by your side in every season of your life

You have been given a spirit of confidence and boldness- not one of fear

You have been redeemed, forgiven, bought with a price, and are now complete in Christ

You are a citizen of heaven and that is yours as an inheritance.

You are Christ’s ambassador and appointed to go and bear fruit

You are a masterpiece from God’s own hand and of priceless value

God is not a proponent of behavioural modification. He is devoted to transforming you to be like His Son. Which starts with us rewiring our thinking as to who we are. And confronting, capturing, and changing legalistic, victimized, fearful, insecure thoughts. One at a time.

Less of me in my mind and more of Him

As I have addressed my thoughts- I have also needed to explore and deal with the roots beneath. Why do I think like I do? And along this journey - it’s important to stop and go deeper still- to find the origin of a stronghold of thinking and ax it down. That’s why we need good friends and a church community who can support us and give us wise counsel in finding full freedom.

Your life has the capacity to touch and influence hundreds, if not thousands, of people. And they need to see your beautiful mind. Because they are hungry for hope. They need to experience a Redemptive God who can turn around a mind captive in darkness, a mind so swallowed up in self-pity, hatred, bitterness, grief, fear, and comparison and deliver them from the mess in the garden of their mind.

Father- help me to keep my heart soft so I see where I need to renew my mind in your grace. Fill me with a new vision for my life to see myself and others through your eyes.
