Walk Through The Bible 365 - JuneSample
Seek God's Voice First Before Your Team
In the Story 1 Kings 22, before the war against Syrians to get back a city of Ramoth-gilead, the King of Judah, Jehoshaphat obeyed God and sought Him first. He also encouraged his partner do the same. However, the King of Israel, Ahab, sought his team, the false prophets' advice first. You can continue to read this story of what happened to King Ahab. God will greatly reward those who put their faith in Him by seeking His voice first instead of themselves, their team, their knowledge and their resources.
Father Lord, Heaven and Earth will pass away, but the Word of The Lord will stand firm forever. For those who follow your word and trust in you will have a victorious life. Pray the Lord help us turn from putting our trust in people, resources and media, to the lasting Rock that is Christ Jesus. In Jesus' Name, Amen.
