Winning Your Spiritual Battle

With all that is going on in the world, it is important to have discernment. The Bible records generations of people, some of whom understood what was going on in the spiritual world and followed God’s lead, and others who were asleep or missed His plan entirely. Each of those reactions had specific outcomes and had an impact on the future of all who followed them. A Christian’s discernment determines the outcome of his or her life. 

Following God’s lead is the only answer to everything that comes our way in life. When monumental things happen, such as global pandemics, natural disasters, or war, we are sure to listen for instructions from those who govern us. That is great. We should be informed and ready to listen to guidance. More than that, however, we need to be focused on God. There is a colossal spiritual battle happening for the souls of every person. Seeking God is imperative.

Not being aware of what is happening around you will have a large impact on your eternal fate. In order to understand the unseen things at work in our lives or the things that are happening to the world around us, we need the wisdom of God. How do we get that divine wisdom? We have to set our minds on God. As times get darker and we start to live out what we see in the Bible concerning the end times, we need to know how to respond. If you hear of wars, natural disasters, pestilence, and famines will you be dumbfounded and wonder what is happening, or will you know how to respond based on how God leads you in the spiritual realm? How can we know how to respond? 

We have to make sure we are hearing, seeing, and experiencing the pure presence of God and not any other spirit. Repent, turn from idolatry, remove distractions, devote your time to God, spend time in His presence, look to Him, read His instructions, listen to His voice, speak His truths over your life and share His love and hope with the world. If you do these things, there is no way you can miss the will of God and be led astray by the evil one. From this moment on, how will you resist the enemy and his deception? Remember above all things, God is for you and is moving on your behalf!
