Fear Busters (Week 2)Sample
Day 2 - God is my rock
READ:
“The Lord is my rock, my protection, my Saviour. My God is my rock. I can run to Him for safety. He is my shield and my saving strength, my high tower.” (Psalm 18:2 ICB).
The first sentence of Psalm 18:2 says that “The Lord is my rock”. What do you think of when you hear the word ‘rock’? Rocks are very hard and very strong - have you ever tried to break a rock?
It’s very hard! When we think of a rock, we think of something that is strong and unchanging.
Like a rock, God is strong and unchanging. God is not surprised when things in our world change and look different. God still loves us, is still stronger than anything that may try to hurt us. God is still good and we can depend on God because He is our rock!
In the Beginner's Bible (Page 26-33) or in Genesis 6:9-9:17, we read about Noah and his family, we can see that Noah trusted God, depended on God and did as God asked him to. God is a rock to Noah and his family, strong and unchanging, always there, always providing for them and always keeping His promises. God is our rock too, strong and unchanging, always with us, always providing for us always keeping His promises.
ASK:
Where can you trust God more?
Some of you might feel a bit uncertain or afraid because of the news about the Coronavirus right now, but the good news is that God is strong and unchanging, always with us, always providing for us and He keeps His promises. God is our rock.
REMEMBER:
“The Lord is my rock, my protection, my Saviour. My God is my rock. I can run to Him for safety. He is my shield and my saving strength, my high tower.” (Psalm 18:2 ICB).

FEARBUSTER PRAYER:
You are bigger than my fears, you wipe away my tears. I have a voice to pray, you teach me what to say. I am brave because of You! This sickness just won’t do. We tell it now to quit, we've had enough of it!
