The New Testament in 90 DaysSample
Introduction to Colossians
Paul wrote this letter during his prison stay in Rome, somewhere around A.D. 60-61. He learned that they were struggling with heresy. False teachers were denying the deity of Christ saying that He was not actually God.
Paul had never visited Colossae but did address this anyway. His tone at the end of this letter was more personal as he was trying to develop a relationship with them instead of just asserting any authority he had.
