I Have Questions: DivorceSample
Were you afraid of the dark when you were a kid? Maybe you’re still a little scared of the dark now! If you know that feeling, then you know how helpful it is to have someone you trust in the darkness with you. When you don’t know what’s out there, what’s surrounding you, or what’s coming next, it’s at least comforting to know that someone is with you. Because when we know someone is with us, it can ease our fear.
In the midst of what may feel like dark or difficult circumstances in your life, remember the declaration from this Psalm: You are with me. God doesn’t leave us alone when we’re afraid; instead, He walks right into the darkness with us, comforting us and easing our fears. Is there a dark valley or difficult circumstance in your life right now?
Pray that God would show you His presence right where you are.
