"Sexodus" Relationships DevotionalSample
Wandering Around
This chapter finds King David, one of the most revered characters in the Bible, not out to war like he should've been, but instead, wandering around the castle, killing time. He goes on to commit adultery with Bathsheba, a moment that would ruin the rest of his life and legacy.
The moral of the story? When we're not where we're supposed to be, doing what we're supposed to be doing, we're far more susceptible to temptation. Consider your responsibilities and remember every day that you honor those commitments and work hard to do your every day tasks, you're keeping yourself from having too much time on your hands and finding destructive ways to spend that time.
Pray this morning that God keeps you focused.
