TALK // They say you become the average of the five people you hang around most. Meaning, wisdom and foolishness are contagious. In other words, it matters who we hang around because, whether we realize it or not, we are constantly being influenced by the people we spend time with. And let’s be honest. We know there are those who bring out the best of us, and those who . . . don’t. Now, that doesn’t mean we cut these people out of our lives. It just means we need to learn to make better choices about who we allow in our closest circle of friends. So, don’t forget: Wisdom is contagious. Is there someone you need to start hanging out with? Someone you “catch” wisdom from? Make plans to hang out with them sometime this week.
