Spread The WordSample
Say this out loud:
People learn about Jesus when I share God’s Good News.
Now that we know Jesus wants us to share the Good News with everyone, everywhere, the next question is: what exactly is the Good News? Before we get to the Good News, we have to understand the bad news. The bad news is that when we sin (when we disobey God), we are separated from God, and there is nothing we can do to earn our way back to Him. But that’s where the Good News comes in! The Good News is that God sent Jesus to take the punishment for us. We can have a good relationship with God! All we have to do is admit we have sinned, believe Jesus took the punishment for us, and choose to live and love like Jesus. So now that you know what the Good News is, are you ready to share it?
Watch the video and play Preacher Time to help you memorize Mark 16:15. Remember, Jesus has an important job for you!
Preacher Time
1. Read Mark 16:15 out loud to your family and friends.
2. Pretend you’re a preacher and teach your family and friends what the verse means.
3. Let each person in your family try to say the verse out loud without any help.
4. Give a prize or a high five to the first person who can say it.
Talk It Over:
Who do you know who doesn’t know the Good News?
How can you start a conversation and share it with them?
