Pray For Life: A Prayer Journey

DAY 40 OF 40

Connecting with God's Heart

Ask that you continue being so compelled by the love of Christ that you persevere in prayer for unsaved colleagues/friends (2 Cor 5:14)

God is passionate about bringing the lost home. The parable we know as ‘the prodigal son’ (Luke 15: 11-32) tells not only of the Father who longingly and lovingly awaits the return of his rebellious son, but is set in the context of the Pharisees questioning why Jesus would socialise and eat with sinners (Luke 15:1-2). The answer, given in the form of three parables, is that Jesus has come to seek and save the lost. Why? Because he shares the Father’s heart.

We hope that you have been both encouraged by answered prayer and challenged by the vital role our prayers can play in the salvation journey of others. LICC exists to inspire and equip Christians to see and play their full role in God’s rich purposes for his world.
