Just Jesus: Answers For LifeSample
Prayer
Prayer connects you with God and expands your faith. It is a vibrant, active place to dialogue and nurture intimacy with your closest friend! Prayer isn’t creating a Christmas list for Santa. It is often more about asking God what He wants from you rather than what you want from Him. God already knows what you need before you ask. What is He saying? Listen more and talk less. Pray in faith with a heart to listen so you can hear from Him. This builds relationship and faith. Spend more time listening to the Master of the universe. Prayer is proactive, purposeful and powerful. Are you hearing with your heart? You will soon become aware of how you hear Him. Forgive. Forgiveness blows away the clouds that can separate you from God’s light. Praying from a humble heart, in faith, in forgiveness opens the door to God’s provision and guidance.
Memory Verse
“All things, whatever you ask in prayer, believing, you will receive.” Matthew 21:22.
Declaration Prayer
My faith does not rest in the wisdom or ability of men, but in the power of Almighty God. Now my faith is the assurance, the confirmation, the title deed of the things I hope for, being the proof of things I do not see and the conviction of their reality. My faith perceives as real fact what is not revealed to my senses. No unbelief or distrust will make me waver concerning the promises of God, but I grow strong and empowered by faith as I give praise and glory to God. I am fully satisfied and assured that You, Lord God, are able and mighty to keep Your Word and to do what You have promised. Through faith and absolute trust and confidence in His power, wisdom and goodness and by the practice of patient endurance and waiting, I am inheriting my promises. For as many as are the promises of God, they all find their “yes” answer in Christ. Thank You, Jesus. You are the high priest of my confession, You ever live to intercede for me today. For this reason I say, “Amen” -so be it- to God through Christ to the glory of God!
