Love God Greatly Truth Over LiesSample

Have you ever put an age limit on God’s plans for your life? We often feel that our age restricts us from accomplishing our goals or dreams. Like the height restriction at a rollercoaster, we stand stretching to see if God will let us on the ride. But the truth is that God sets no age restrictions. He uses both the young and old for His glory. God used Josiah, an eight-year-old king, to turn the hearts of the nation of Judah back to Him (2 Kings 22). The Apostle Paul told Timothy to not allow his youth to be a stumbling block for his ministry – but rather to be an example by how he lived.
On the opposite side of the spectrum are those of us who feel that our “glory days” of serving the Lord are over. Because of age, health, or feeling a lack of opportunity, we sense that God has placed us on His eternal display case. Friend, God powerfully uses those with life experience to strengthen, train and encourage the next generation.
No matter your age, God WANTS you to be on mission for Him. Are you willing to open yourself to whatever opportunity He has already planned for you?
Father God, thank You for showing me that whatever season of life I may be in, You have a plan for me. Please help make known whatever steps I need to take to be obedient to You. Thank You for Jesus. Help me rely on Your Spirit to guide me in the right direction. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
About this Plan
Friends, I invite you to join me on this journey, in this battle of fighting against lies and discovering the beautiful Truth found in God’s Word. Truth that will set our hearts and minds free. Free to love who we are because of Christ and free to embrace the love He has for us. Freedom is found in truth. Bondage is found in lies.
