It’s Not Looking Good

From today's passage, sickness and death had come to Lazarus and the message was given to Jesus: "Lord, the one you love is sick." Jesus tarried until Lazarus was dead and then went to be with Martha and Mary. As the decision was made known to the disciples to journey to Bethany, Thomas realized that the trip would be a death march since there was a price tag on Jesus' head. Here we see a glimpse of doom from Thomas and things didn't look promising. What a surprise for Thomas and the disciples when Jesus showed His power and glory!



Prayer: Father, sometimes we do have little understanding and we thank you for your mercy and grace. Bless those today that are discouraged and can not see your infinite plan for each life. Help us be faithful in the work you have called us to do and keep our eyes on you. In Jesus' Name, Amen.
