Grief Bites: Finding Treasure In Hardshipsنموونە
Think about the circumstances in your life. Think of the areas where you feel defeated, discouraged, unvalued, unproductive, guilt, dissatisfaction, and/or miserable. These are all red flags in your life that are telling you that a change needs to be made.
It may be an area you need to change—we all cause or allow our own misery some of the time…mainly because we don’t show value/honor to God & others..or ourselves.
It may be an area you need to renegotiate because someone/a circumstance is not properly showing honor/value to God or you.
It may be a situation where you are simply wasting your valuable time—social media/TV/unneeded naps/laziness/unproductiveness/etc.
Or it may be an area that God is telling you to take responsibility and seek His direction.
Look at where you are pleasing God and where you are not—we think we are all pleasers of God but the truth is….we’re not always.
Where do you need to make things right with God…with others…and with yourself? What God-given goals or dreams did you allow to slip away that you regret…or what goals & dreams are in jeopardy that you are about to deeply regret? Are you truly living your life purpose?
Look to see where life isn’t working well…and then brainstorm with God to see what is causing it not to work. Once you do an honest inventory of your life, make the necessary changes that God is directing you to make. And that is going to look different for everybody.
We each have to give an answer for how we live our life. There are blessings and consequences to every choice we make…so shouldn’t we strive to make the ones that bring joy & blessings instead of the choices that make us feel terrible all the time? We each should ask ourselves these questions so we can truly live the best life possible for God and His glory. Our circumstances do NOT dictate if we have a good life with God...we each make that very important decision and effort.
Be true to God and your God-given convictions. Treat others with the upmost value & honor.
Ask God to reveal to you how to live your best life possible for Him. Through Christ, we can do all things.
