Before the Cross: 31 Days of Servingنموونە
Day 16 - Teach
As we are believers in Christ because of what Christ did for us on the Cross, we can praise Him every day for His love and faithfulness for us. However, at the same time, are we teaching others about this?
We must spread the Gospel and teach others in all wisdom about the glorious Grace we get to have daily. If you're asking, “Ok, I know about this, but how do I do it and what do I need to learn first?” Simple answer, you already have everything you need, but let’s take it a step further. Colossians tells us to let the Word of Christ dwell in you richly. In order for it to dwell, we must read it daily and pray. It never has a chance to dwell in us if we aren’t even taking the time to read it.
As we read the Bible, pray to God, the Cross seems to get bigger each day, and the realization of what Christ did for us only grows more and more. As that grows, so should our thankfulness and gratitude for Jesus Christ. So much so, that we can’t help but tell people about Christ and what He has done and that we can sing with spiritual hymns and songs like the Bible says in Colossians.
That being said, we already have more than enough to teach others and share the Gospel. Who can you teach to, today?
