Be for Real

DAY 8 OF 28

(VIDEO TRANSCRIPT BELOW)

At times in our lives, we all want the best and greatest thing that is out there. When the new iPhone comes out, we want it. When we see how many followers our friend has, we want to be just like them. We often look forward to big opportunities and experiences, but our lives are often built through much smaller decisions. This is especially true when it comes to integrity.

There are times in our lives when God will give us small opportunities to display kindness to others even when no one is watching. While this might not seem super exciting, it’s in those moments where we can display our character even when it may go unnoticed, like holding the door for the elderly person at the store or helping around the house without being asked to. These small acts of kindness are opportunities to live a life of integrity. They also help us practice integrity, so it is easier when we face more difficult circumstances.

This week, look for an opportunity to display kindness even when it may go unnoticed.
