Be for Realنموونە

Have you ever thought about how much influence your thoughts have on your life? Our thoughts shape how we see ourselves, our friends, and the world around us. The author of Philippians reminds us that we can choose to focus on thoughts that lift us up and lead us toward doing good. We’re encouraged to think about things that are true, honorable, and worthy of praise.
This week, try paying attention to the thoughts you spend the most time on. Are they positive and uplifting, or do they bring you down? If they aren’t building you up, challenge yourself to shift your focus. Take a moment to pray and ask God to help you focus on what is good and admirable, looking to Jesus as an example of pure and hopeful thinking. Practicing this can help bring peace and joy into your life.
