Holiness: A Call for Our Daysنموونە
Holiness in our lives is not only demonstrated by the absence of sin but also by the presence of the fruit of the Spirit. In Galatians 5:22-23, Paul presents us with a list of characteristics that should be developed in our Christian walk. This "fruit" is not a collection of optional qualities, but rather an integral expression of a life transformed by the Holy Spirit.
Each aspect of the fruit of the Spirit is evidence that we are growing in holiness and conforming to the image of Christ. Love leads us to act with compassion and empathy; joy keeps us steady, even in the midst of trials; peace calms our hearts in times of uncertainty; patience teaches us to wait on God's timing; kindness and goodness reflect God’s gracious and benevolent character; faithfulness keeps us loyal to God and His Word; gentleness helps us deal with others humbly; and self-control enables us to resist temptations and live with discipline.
However, the development of this fruit does not happen automatically. It requires us to fully surrender to the Holy Spirit, allowing Him to shape our attitudes and behaviors. The Holy Spirit works in us, producing this fruit over time, but we must cooperate with Him, intentionally seeking to cultivate these qualities in our daily lives.
Developing the fruit of the Spirit is a continuous process. As we seek to live according to God's will, we become more capable of reflecting Christ's character to the world around us. This requires daily surrender, a constant pursuit of a life led by the Holy Spirit, and a desire to grow in spiritual maturity.
When we neglect the fruit of the Spirit, we risk distancing ourselves from holiness and from God's presence. The fruit of the Spirit is a sign that we are on the right path, growing and being transformed into the image of Christ.

About this Plan
Holiness is a daily call to separate ourselves from the world and align with God's will. It requires continuous transformation, renewal of the mind, and the pursuit of peace. In a world that constantly pulls us in another direction, being holy means choosing, day after day, to live according to divine principles. God invites us to experience His good, pleasing, and perfect will. Choose holiness today.
