One of the greatest things about the way God designed the world is that there’s always an ebb and flow to every season. When we’re in the depths of the chill of winter, we can rest assured that the fresh blooms of spring are on the way. And when we’re buried under the heat of summer, we can look forward to the crispness of fall just around the corner. There’s always a season, and those seasons will always change.
The same is true in our lives. Every circumstance, every struggle, every triumph—it’s all just a season. That means that, good and bad, the season will eventually change. When it’s time to cry, to mourn, to grieve, we can do so knowing that on the other side, there’s a time to laugh, to find joy, to celebrate once more. Whether the season is our best or our worst, we can move through it knowing that the season will change, the time will pass, and something new will be on the horizon eventually.
Today, take time to journal or pray about the season you’re in. Ask God to help you move through it, learn from it, and appreciate it while you’re in it. Pray that you’ll glean what God has for you during the season you’re in while looking forward to the season still to come.

About this Plan
Few things in life are more important than breathing. It’s what keeps us going and living. This isn’t a devotional on the science of breathing. Instead, we’re talking about what it looks like to create breathing room in parts of our everyday lives. From faith to finances to friendship to so much more, we’re diving into the benefits of slowing down, pausing, and giving these areas of our lives room to breathe.
