Rider on the White Horseنموونە
King of Kings and Lord of Lords
On his robe and on his thigh he has this name written: King of kings and Lord of lords. (Revelation 19:16 ESV)
Jesus is not just a king among many, but the supreme King above all kings, and the Lord above all lords. His authority is absolute and His power unmatched. When we declare Jesus as our King, we are acknowledging His rightful place over every area of our lives. To truly experience Him as our Savior, we must also submit to Him as Lord, allowing Him to rule our hearts and guide our decisions.
Is there an area of your life where you have not fully surrendered to Jesus as your King and Lord? What steps can you take to submit that part of your life to His authority?
Prayer: Father God, I recognize that Jesus is the King of kings and Lord of lords. Help me to fully submit to his rule in every aspect of my life. Reveal to me any areas where I am holding back, and give me the strength to surrender completely to his will. In Jesus' name, Amen.
