Ephesians: Week 2 – Day 5
Although we live in a physical world, we are engaged in a spiritual war. Our enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy. If we are in Christ, the enemy knows he cannot keep us from salvation or eternal life, but he can render us ineffective while we’re here on Earth. His desire is for Christians to live miserable lives, maintain terrible testimonies, and make no impact for the Kingdom of God.
If we want to stand firm against the enemy’s attacks, we must use the arsenal God has given us: the belt of truth, the breastplate of righteousness, the sandals of the gospel of peace, the shield of faith, the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the spirit. The more time we spend with God through prayer, worship, and His Word, the more equipped we become to utilize each of these tools.

About this Plan
From Genesis to Revelation, “God’s Redemption Story” outlines the narrative of God’s plan for the reconciliation of humanity. This 12-part reading plan summarizes the story of the Bible. After the gospels, the New Testament's focus becomes the formation of the Church, its mission, and its implications in our lives.
