Fuel the Fire

DAY 2 OF 5

Have you ever felt tired or weary? It's a feeling that can sneak into our lives when we are overcome with the weight of our responsibilities, whether that’s managing academics, the pressures of work, personal struggles, or even our relationships. Oftentimes when we get into the motions of life, it can be easy to feel as though we are lacking the strength to continue walking in the purpose that God has called us to.

In Verse 31, it says that those who trust in the Lord will soar on wings like eagles. Meaning, when we trust in God, we are able to rise above our struggles and worldly responsibilities and gain a new perspective and a greater sense of understanding. The remainder of that verse talks about running without growing weary and walking without becoming faint, which gives a great picture of the endurance that the Lord promises to us. That His strength is not just a burst of energy, but is strength that remains steady and sustains us.

This serves as a reminder that those who trust in the Lord can rely on Him to renew their strength. We are designed to have a relationship with our creator and when we do, He will lead us, protect us, grow us, and take us to new heights!

About this Plan

Fuel the Fire

As Christians, it can be easy to go through the motions of life, where the hardships and challenges try to extinguish your spiritual flame. 2 Timothy 1:6-7 reminds us that our job as believers is to fuel our spiritual flame- through meditation on God’s word, spending time in his presence, and prayer. Join us on this journey to Fuel the Fire in your life.
