Regain Your Trust in Godنموونە
Trusting when there is no breakthrough.
A dear friend's husband has been unemployed for at least six years now. They have gone through many seasons of fasting and prayer, trusting God for employment for him, but still nothing. Over time they have endured the advice, scorn, and rejection of many believers because their circumstances remain the same. At least once a month they are challenged by the realities of shortages like food on the table. They have gone through seasons of feeling overwhelmed, of not knowing if God hears their prayers, or whether they have unconfessed sin that may be the reason for their situation. But through it all, they have remained faithful in their trust in God. I have watched them grow spiritually like few people I know. I have seen God's Supernatural Provision through all these years, from school fees to food, money for fuel, etc.
Sometimes we do not understand why there is no breakthrough in a matter we trust God for. Asking questions during such seasons is not wrong. It shows you still have a relationship with the Lord!
Keep on asking, keep on knocking, keep on seeking God (Matthew 7:7-11). Never give up! Never allow the enemy to turn your heart away from God, however difficult it may go.
Spend some time today in pouring out your heart before the Lord on everything that has become such a burden to you – especially when it concerns finances. Ask Him to show you areas of your heart where more surrender is needed. Perhaps you have misused resources with which you were entrusted. Perhaps someone else has stolen from you and now you are suffering.
Pour out your heart to the Lord and ask Him to help you on the journey of receiving healing. Ask Him to help you put your trust in Him again.
