The God Who Sees Youنموونە
Does God mess up your plans?
This is not the way I planned, I thought, when my GPS suddenly led me to a completely different way home than usual.
Normally, I drive these 140 kilometers back from my parent’s house to my place via Switzerland and buy the delicious coffee on the way which is not available in Germany. Normally. But my GPS, which I used out of habit, showed me a completely different route. "But I want my coffee....", I said to myself, a bit disappointed.
This other route, previously unknown to me, took me past so many beautiful places that I kept marveling, "It's really beautiful here!" Besides, a sick friend of mine had wanted something specific that was hard to come by, and here suddenly was the very store I had been looking for! Wow! Also, I had been wanting to buy something nice for my home for a long time and here I found two stores with a great selection!
It may sound insignificant right now, but all of it was full of meaning to me at that moment.
Sometimes God leads you down a different path to show you that there is something you’ve been missing!
If God had asked me directly, "Why don't you go through Germany today?" I probably would have replied, "But I have a plan. I want to buy coffee in Switzerland." And because I was not willing to adapt, I would have missed all the beautiful scenery and opportunities He had in mind.
"We can make our plans, but the LORD determines our steps." (Proverbs 16:9 NLT)
In this New Year, are you willing to let God direct your steps? Are you willing to trust Him completely, even if that path looks different than the one you wanted to follow?
Remember “... the God who sees me...” (Genesis 16:13 NIV)
He is a God who always has your best interests at heart. Today and in this new year.
God bless you!
You are a miracle!

About this Plan
“...You are the God who sees me… I have now seen the One who sees me.” (Genesis 16:13). Do you feel not seen - by friends, family, God? Or maybe you feel rejected? If that is the struggle you are facing, it’s time to be reminded that you are seen by God.
