DAY 4 OF 22

PRAYING THAT GOD WOULD GIVE US EYES TO SEE HIS HEART FOR THE LOST

As we begin praying for the lost, ask that God would give us His heart for them. God paid the price so that all could be forgiven, and He doesn’t want anyone to miss out. Join us in praying for the lost to come to know, love, and serve Him! Here are some fill-in-the-blank prayers from Pastor Jeanie. Just insert any name you would like.

  • I pray for ______ who needs to know You; That the Lord of the harvest would send laborers to reach ______ with the gospel that is the power of God to salvation. (Luke 10:2, Romans 1:16)
  • That the light of Christ would shine on ______ whose mind has been blinded by the god of this age and would open their hearts to receive the love of God. (2 Corinthians 4:4,6)
  • That ______ be filled with a love of the truth and a revelation of Christ. (2 Thessalonians 2:10, 3:5)
  • Grant ______ repentance so that they may know the truth, come to their senses, and escape the snare of the devil who has taken them captive to do his will. (2 Timothy 2:25,26)
  • You desire for all, including ______, to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth! Thank You for drawing them to You today. Thank You, Jesus, for coming so that they might have life and have it more abundantly! (1 Timothy 2:4, John 3:16 & 10:10)
  • Give ______ a heart to know what Christ did for them, that they may turn to You with their whole heart and know You as their Father. (Jeremiah 24:7)
  • It is Your will that everyone who beholds the Son and believes in Him has eternal life. Thank You for Your great love for ______. (John 6:40)
  • Open ______ eyes to behold wonderful things from Your Word. (Psalm 119:18)
  • According to the authority You give us, I loose ______ from the lies and bondages that have kept them from seeing Christ’s glorious light and the beauty and joys of a personal relationship with Jesus. I bind away from ______ all the distractions that would hinder them from hearing the Good News of Christ today, and I bind them to the love of God for them. May they taste and see how good You are and not be able to escape Your love and mercy. (Matthew 18:18, Psalm 34:8)
  • Out of Your glorious riches, grant ______ to be strengthened with power through Your Spirit working in them so that Christ may dwell in their hearts through faith. I pray that ______ will become rooted and grounded in love and may have power, together with all the saints, to grasp the amazing extent of Your love for them and be filled up to all the fullness of God. (Ephesians 3:16-19)
