Worry, Be Gone!
Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank Him for all He has done. Then you will experience God’s peace, which exceeds anything we can understand. His peace will guard your hearts and minds as you live in Christ Jesus. PHILIPPIANS 4:6–7 NLT
Do you pray as much as you worry? Praying about your worries and asking God to take them away from you can give you so much peace and comfort when you’re facing something hard. Most of the time, the things we worry about don’t even happen. Too often, we allow our minds to spin a dozen “what if” scenarios and keep us awake at night instead of turning to the One who can really help us calm our fears.
Give it to God and go to sleep. We were never meant to carry these burdens alone. And praise the Lord that He’s much stronger than we are. Ask God to give you the peace that only He can provide. Pray that He will calm your heart and clear your mind the next time you worry. Turn your worries into worship every chance you get.
