4 Reminders of Who God Is: Psalm 46نموونە
God Is Still In The Business Of Transforming Lives
How amazing is our God! He is present in the moment and our refuge in times of trouble.
But it is not just in our most painful moments that God is at work. Psalms 46:8-9 declares, "Come, behold the works of the Lord; see what desolations he has brought on the earth. He makes wars cease to the end of the earth; he breaks the bow, and shatters the spear; he burns the shields with fire." The Psalmist's language in verses 8 and 9 is an invitation to draw near to God. "He makes," "He breaks," and "He burns" - paints a beautiful picture for us of a God who is active.
We serve a God who cares deeply about His creation. Revelation 4:11 says, "You are worthy, our Lord and God, to receive glory and honor and power, for you created all things, and by your will they existed and were created." God is on the move creating, molding, and shaping His creation and His people. In His presence, we are continually being transformed into the likeness of Jesus.
You are God's masterpiece! He delights in you and wants to see real heart-level transformation happen in your life - in your relationships, finances, and all areas of your life. Like a sculptor, He is continuously molding and shaping your life. (See Isaiah 64:8)
Today ask God to show you which areas of your life He wants to transform. And then, whatever He reveals to you, submit yourself to Him in obedience, trusting that He is a good and faithful Father.
