30DaysOfBibleLettering - Round 4 نموونە
But he said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ’s power may rest on me.
2 Corinthians 12:9 NIV
Are you the type of person who doesn’t want to appear weak, or are you the type of person who would gladly boast about your weaknesses? We all encounter challenges each day. For most of us, we want to face these challenges all on our own. It’s like a part of us wants to prove to ourselves and to others that we are capable to accomplishing things by ourselves. Why is that? Instead of giving the glory back to God as the source of our everything, our pride makes us want to receive all the glory for every achievement we make. When we face our everyday challenges and struggles all on our own, how often have we found ourselves staring failure right in the face? For me, a lot. You could imagine an image of a small person attempting to fight giants surrounding him; and the winner of this scenario is quite obvious.
Jesus said, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” The moment we decide to let go of our pride and admit that we are weak, we open ourselves to receiving God’s grace, and we are able to depend on Him for strength. Strength that has no limits, strength that cannot be overthrown. The reason why we often fail at our personal battles is because we rely on the wrong strength, our own limited capabilities. But when we boast about our weaknesses and allow Christ’s power to rest in us, overcoming the giants of our life will no longer look like an impossible feat. But by God’s grace, which is sufficient for us, we will claim victory against our daily battles.
