Just Don't Give Up! - Part 2: His Planنموونە
The Final Word
“I am greatly afflicted; Renew and revive me [giving me life], O Lord, according to Your word.” – Psalm 119:107
How often have we turned to Google instead of the Bible for guidance in life? The Internet can be a helpful tool for browsing, and I have found useful sites for various aspects of my life. However, when it comes to essential questions, only the Bible has the right answers. The question we should ask ourselves is: Have we sought answers from the Bible during these times?
When I was waiting for the results of my biopsy, I was burning with curiosity. I turned to Google to learn more about "lymphoma". However, I ended up feeling overwhelmed by the information - survival rates, unknown complexities, stories from other patients with failed treatments, and more. Searching for answers on the Internet did more harm than good, adding to my anxiety.
The Word of God is the only source that provides answers to our deepest needs. It renews our strength and rejuvenates our spirits during afflictions. When we are in darkness, the Word guides our feet on the right path. When the world is full of uncertainties, the Word reassures us of God’s master plan for our lives.
We can gain information from different sources, but the peace that comes from God is what we need most during times of uncertainty. Information can lead us astray if we do not know how to filter it properly. When we are afraid, turning to the Internet can feel like drowning in a wild ocean. Instead, seek the Truth and equip yourself with His peace. Believe in the Word of Yes and Amen.
My friend, when you are surrounded by fear and anxiety, turn to the Word. What the world says about your situation is not final, but the Word is. Focus on the power of God through His Word, and you will find answers to everything you need to win the battle!
The Word is the integrity of God
